John Spraberry is a M.Arch Graduate Student at University of Michigan currently researching Post-Industrial Scenarios for Rural Mississippi Communities. As part of the JCDC, John helped organize community design workshops and prepare drawings for the Farish Street Commons. John’s interests in community-centered design, environmental design, and design education grew out of his experience working with the Farish Street Community at the JCDC. After graduation, John plans to continue working with community design efforts on local food production in Ann Arbor and Detroit.
